The Data Entry Internship is designed for current undergraduate or graduate students to learn about utilizing a database (Raiser's Edge) in a non-profit setting with the goal of being a leader in the non-profit sector. The purpose of the internship program is to help students further cultivate their skills through a real-life work experience.

Primary Tasks:

Assist in maintaining database and file system

Work collaboratively with Executive Office Specialist to update database with donor gifts

Assimilate data from National records into the Chapter database


Proficient keying skills (9-key preferred)

Proficiency in filing and attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively

Ability to maintain discretion when dealing with confidential information

Location: Make-A-Wish Kansas Office located at 1144 N. St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67214

Duration: Flexible and project-based

Hours/Schedule: Flexible (hours availability may vary)
