Become a kidscommons volunteer!
Volunteers are vital to kidscommons. You will be part of a team whose goal is to work together to make sure every guest has a positive experience at the museum and wants to come back again and again. Volunteers should have an interest in learning and sharing what they know, and an enjoyment of working with children and families. You will have many opportunities for on-the-job training. Minimum age requirement: entering 8th grade.
Museum Floor Volunteer - Interact with children and families explaining and assisting guests with our exhibits.
Special Events Volunteer - Assist with setting up and staffing special programs, events and activities that include book fair, STEAM and summer camps!
Educational Support Volunteer - Assist education staff with programming offered to scouts, pre-schools and special visiting groups.
