Marklund Wasmond Center - Elgin, IL

Volunteers help Marklund make everyday life possible for our residents and students by assisting them with therapeutic, recreational and educational activities, community outings, or just being a new face to see during the day. They provide many daily life experiences while freeing up staff to provide 24-hour specialized care.

Activities include: Playing games with our residents (Bingo, Pictionary, Hangman, etc.), outdoor water activities, adapted sports, reading, arts & crafts, and more.

A calendar with scheduled activities & community outing volunteer opportunities is available each month.
