WHAT: St. Jude partners with our Urban Adult Contemporary, Gospel and Country stations to raise money. Through this event, listeners call in to become Partners in Hope with $20-per-month donations to the hospital. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should have to worry about is helping their child live. Last year, our New Orleans radiothon raised $210,417 for the kids of St. Jude. Our volunteers will be working the phone bank to get our Partners in Hope in our system.
WHEN: Thursday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Jan. 27 from 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. The maximum amount of volunteers per shift is seven. Volunteers are more than welcome to choose multiple shifts. Shift times are below:
- 6 a.m. - 9 a.m.
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
WHERE: 929 Howard Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113. Parking will be in the lot attached to the radio station.
WHO: We are looking for 5-7 volunteers per shift. Volunteers will answer the phones at the radio station to log Partners in Hope.

Mission Statement
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
Description
Our vision is to be the world leader in advancing the treatment and prevention of catastrophic diseases in children. This vision will be pursued by providing outstanding patient care; by conducting basic, translational and clinical research designed to elucidate biological mechanisms, understand disease pathogenesis, improve diagnosis, enhance treatment outcome, prevent diseases and minimize adverse consequences of treatment; and by educating health care and scientific research professionals. Through these efforts we seek to cure and enhance the quality of life for an increasing proportion of children who come to us for treatment, and by expanding and sharing knowledge, to advance treatment of children with catastrophic diseases worldwide, while developing strategies to prevent catastrophic diseases in children.
