About VICTORY RANCH INC

Location:

15190 N Red Rock Rd., Reno, NV 89508, US

Mission Statement

Victory Ranch is an equestrian non-profit organization serving the greater Reno and Sparks community by offering innovative, equine-related programs. Our emphasis is working with disadvantaged, underserved, at-risk, neglected, abused, and low-income youth, that includes foster, adopted, and siblings of kids with life-threatening illnesses. Our other major program is the Veterans Ranch Visit Program, serving homeless and other Veterans.

Description

Victory Ranch was founded by a disabled Army Veteran in 2006. It is now in it's 16th year of operation, serving disadvantaged, multi-cultural, and under privileged youth. A new program for homeless Veterans started in 2017! Programs are conducted at a rural ranch in Reno, NV.

We wish to encourage and enable our youth(and adults) to share that special bond between us and our incredible partners and mentors...horses. The goal is to empower each student and participant to build self-esteem and confidence, so that they leave with a renewed hope and good feeling about themselves in their life journey.
