Create Recreate Celebrate!

Description

Wildwood Park for the Arts contains Central Arkansas’ largest botanical gardens, the 625-seat Lucy Lockett Cabe Festival Theatre, more than 4,000 sq ft of indoor reception areas, as well as studios, classrooms, and production spaces. Located in West Little Rock's lush Chenal Valley, Wildwood’s vision is to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, engage the imagination and celebrate the human spirit through encounters with nature and a full spectrum of the arts: visual, performing, literary, horticultural, culinary and more.

The Park’s arts programming, educational projects, and the growth and maintenance of Wildwood’s gardens are made possible by the funds, time, and energy of generous donors and volunteers throughout our community. Wildwood is supported in part by Deltic Timber, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage.

Welcoming over 48,000 visitors a year, Wildwood is one of Little Rock’s premier cultural institutions and a staple in West Little Rock’s growing cultural scene.

The Wild Women and Wild Men, Wildwood’s corps of over 350 dedicated volunteers, makes it possible for Wildwood to provide year-round programming . The youth volunteer corps includes representatives from the Mayor’s Youth Council, Episcopal Collegiate, Pulaski Academy, Little Rock Central High School and Hall High School.

Wildwood’s events include an annual Wine and Food Festival, the Wine Reserve Dinner, the RunWild 5K, the Arkansas Pickin’ and Fiddlin’ Championships, the LANTERNS! Festival , and the annual Holiday Tour of Homes.
