Northwest Harvest is in need of youth artists to make Valentines!

Each Valentine's Day, Northwest Harvest sends out hundreds of handmade thank you Valentine's cards to many of the friends who make the fight against hunger possible and we need youth artists to share their talents by making the cards.

This is great as a class project, as an activity for a youth group, or for an individual youth who enjoys art. We will provide the details and directions, and depending on where you're located, we may even be able to pick up the cards when they're finished.

The cards are needed by Wednesday, February 1.

All Valentine's projects must be pre-registered with us before you get started.

Service hours are available for this project, but Northwest Harvest can only provide hours for work or school purposes. We are unable to provide court-related community service. If you'd like to receive hours, please let us know when you pre-register before beginning the art project.

Northwest Harvest is a hunger-response network that provides food to more than 375 food banks, meal programs and high need schools throughout Washington. Last year, we distributed more than 33 million pounds of food throughout this network.
