Gardener/Grower Wanted:

Turn Back Time is a nonprofit serving children and young adults with disablities looking for 4-5 volunteers to help maintain our market gardens. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to grow but doesn't have the space to do so. No experience required, we will train eager and committed newbies!

Your service will be appreciated and rewarded with a share in the bounty. Volunteers will help make sure the garden stays well maintained for use in our spring and summer programs, such as summer camp. We are requesting volunteers commit to our program for the majority of the growing season. Commitment can be from 2-5 hours per week and schedules are flexible, though follow through and consistency are valuable to us. This is a great opportunity for a teen or college student to get community service hours and would look great on a resume.

Tasks will include:

  1. Preparing Garden beds
  2. Planting
  3. Weeding
  4. Watering
  5. Harvesting
