We are looking for a couple of Handypersons who can help with basic maintenance at our emergency shelter and administrative office. Weekly projects often include:
- fixing wood lockers
- mounting items to the wall (toilet paper dispensers, paper towel holders, hooks,
- Reporting any potential health or safety risks to the Director of Operations
- changing light bulbs
- installing shelving
- basic plumbing projects
- basic carpentry projects
- transporting items to Goodwill
- transporting items to the recycling center
- caulking
- tiling work
- handware or lock repair
- painting
- general maintenance experience
- plumbing skills
- carpentry skills
- great attitude and flexibility
- ability to work independently
