We are looking for volunteers to assist with our nonprofit preschool's annual fundraiser, the Friendship Run 5k/10k/kid run. We need individuals to act as course marshals, timing assistants, parking lot attendants, food service (food handler's permit preferred) and course clean up.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Olympia Westside Cooperative Preschool is to provide a safe, stimulating and enriching environment where children, with the cooperative support of parents and teachers, learn through play, arts and our community.
Description
We strive to give a positive foundation for our students. Children are encouraged to explore, learn about themselves, develop self-confidence and practice cooperative social skills. We believe that children learn by doing, so we offer stimulating, challenging materials and activities that allow them to grow at their own pace. Ability levels, developmental stages and learning styles are accepted and incorporated into the design of appropriate activities.
Our highly qualified teachers nurture each child’s self-esteem and positive feelings toward learning. They keep abreast of the latest developments in Early Childhood Education and utilize anti-bias, anti-violence and a personal safety curriculum.
We have a board, comprised of preschool families, and we are also affiliated with the local community college.
