We are looking for committed professionals to serve on the Operations Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New York and New Jersey. Church affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity.

The Operations Committee will be responsible for planning out the aspects of the school’s day-to-day operations and for developing policies and procedures to support those operations as appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to: enrollment/transfer/discharge processes; enrollment/attendance reporting; development of student policies/handbooks; establishment of calendar/activities; initial charting of supplies; lunch/transportation procedures; disciplinary processes, etc.

The Committee will be convened via conference call and will also do work via email. Committee members will be invited (but not required) to participate in a Joint Committee meeting in New York City on June 15th. The meeting will be held in the Chelsea/Penn Station area of Manhattan.

Candidates with significant experience in school management, operations, and education, as well as other areas of human services are strongly encouraged to apply. The Committee will also consider applicants currently in undergraduate studies.
