We are looking for a committed professional to Chair the Operations Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.

The Operations Planning Committee will be responsible for developing and overseeing the overall operations for the schools. They will make recommendations for vendors, equipment, supplies, products, services, resources and staffing that the school will need in every area.

The Chair will work with the Pastor to develop the agenda and materials for each meeting and will then convene a monthly conference call. Other work can be done virtually as determined by the Chair. The Chair's primary goal is to lead the committee in managing tasks to complete the work that it identified in its committee description and to keep the group focused and on task.

Candidates with significant experience in schools/nonprofit operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October.
