We are looking for a committed professional to Chair the Facilities Planning Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New Jersey and New York. Church/Christian affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity. The schools are anticipated to open in September 2020.

The Facilities Committee will be responsible for developing and overseeing the initial search and purchase/rental of school facilities in New Jersey and New York and will also oversee appropriate renovations and other facilities projects. The Committee will make sure that both facilities meet/exceed the applicable local, city, state and federal requirements.

The Chair will work with the Pastor to develop the agenda and materials for each meeting and will then convene a monthly conference call. Other work can be done virtually as determined by the Chair. The Chair's primary goal is to lead the committee in managing tasks to complete the work that it identified in its committee description and to keep the group focused and on task.

Candidates with significant experience in facilities, real estate, construction and architecture are strongly encouraged to apply.

The next committee meetings are being scheduled for October.
