We are looking for committed professionals to serve on the Facilities Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New York and New Jersey. Church affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity.

The Facilities Committee will be responsible for overseeing the initial search and purchase/rental of school facilities in New York and New Jersey and will also oversee appropriate major renovations and other facilities projects, making recommendations as appropriate. The Committee will ensure that both school facilities meet or exceed all applicable local, city, state and federal requirements.

The Committee will be convened via conference call and much of the work can be done by email. Committee members will be invited (but not required) to attend a Joint Commitee meeting in New York City on June 15th. The meeting will be held in the Chelsea/Penn Station area of Manhattan. Members can elect to participate by phone if desired.

Candidates with significant experience in facilities management and real estate, as well as other areas of human services are strongly encouraged to apply. The Committee will also consider applicants currently in undergraduate studies.
