Facilitators are needed to instruct high school students on professional and career readiness. Curriculum is already created and includes a self assessment, interviewing skills, resume writing and how to be a great employee once hired.
The classes for this opportunity will be held on Thursdays from 4/6 - 5/11 on campus at Ohio State University. Facilitators can select the days that they would like to lead the facilitation, but are encouraged to attend every class in a session so that relationships can be built and fostered with the students. Ideally, there will be two facilitators in each class.
Here is a testimonial video from graduates of our program:

We train high school students, opportunity youth (ages 14-24) and adults. The curriculum is composed of three modules and volunteer facilitators are needed to help lead the instructions. Each Career Institute session is scheduled for 1.5 hours one day per week over the course of 8 weeks. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a monetary reward along with items to help them be successful in the workforce.
