EVF Career Institute at Hilltop Branch library in Spring 2016

Facilitators are needed to instruct students (youth and adults) on professional and career development. Curriculum is already created and includes a self assessment, interviewing skills, and how to be a great employee once hired.

The courses are held at various branches of the Columbus Metropolitan Library and other community locations throughout Columbus where the need is the greatest. Each course will be held for 1.5 hours one day per week (typically on a weekday) for 9 weeks that includes a graduation ceremony on the 9th week. Facilitators can select the weeks and topics that they would like to lead the facilitation for, but are encouraged to attend each week so that relationships can be built and fostered with the students.

Facilitators are required to go through and pass a background check before they can be cleared to facilitate.
