The Women's Museum of California has recently launched our Docent Program and we are looking for additional volunteers to fill our ranks! If you enjoy learning about women's history and issues and want to share that knowledge with the community, being a docent here at the Museum is for you.
Docents will be asked to commit to:
- A training class to take place on weekends or evenings over several weeks
- Availability to provide at least 2 tours per month as needed
- A minimum of 6 months as a docent at the museum
Docents lead both public tours (held of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month) and private tours for a variety of groups ranging from Girl Scout troops to continuing education classes.
