We can use your help removing litter from the park grounds, weeding and raking walkways, and gathering branches from trees that have fallen onto walkways. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park has embarked on a long-term ecological restoration aimed at reestablishing and managing beach dune, coastal strand, freshwater wetlands, maritime hammock, and mangrove forest communities. The Cape Florida Project aimes to restore ecosystem function and connect a culturally diverse urban population with nature through volunteerism and education.
