We are seeking volunteers to help us out at our events/public activities! Our events help fundraisers for our our Hospice House and/or services to the community. Event volunteers will be added to our list to contact for future events. The volunteer can simply accept or pass on the request.
We can also sign off on community service hours!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and older.
Various Tasks may include:
- Coordinating groups, activities, projects
- Assist with check-in, raffles, entries
- Event set-up/breakdown/decorating
- Distributing Goods, tickets, prizes
- Providing Directions/Information
- Answering Questions
- Assisting/overseeing other volunteers
- Supporting Staff Members
- Provide skills if (any) music/singing

The mission of Hospice of San Joaquin, a not-for-profit organization, is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care, counseling, and support to terminally ill patients and their families, regardless of their ability to pay and to educate and collaborate with healthcare providers and the public in promoting quality end-of-life care.
We provide:
A comprehensive care plan that includes medical, social, spiritual, and emotional support for the patient, family, and caregivers.
Effective pain control and symptom management are tailored to each patient's need and changing condition.
