Would you like a job that positively impacts people for eternity by giving them God’s Word? Do you enjoy managing numbers, accounts, and budgets?
At JAARS, we provide training for pilots, obtain aircraft, research and design aviation equipment, and provide resource assistance for all aviation field support overseas.
Your part would be to prepare aviation budgets, audit the financial records, and prepare records and reports. JAARS makes Bible translation possible through transportation, technology, training, and media, and your position is key to helping fulfill our mission. Pray about joining us!
Aviation Business Manager
Person to manage the aviation business affairs of JAARS.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating budget draft for submission to the entity.
- Manage control of budget upon its approval.
- Audit financial status of entity accounts.
- Keep financial records and prepare annual financial report.
- Coordinate and purchase i nsurance policies for all aviation programs worldwide.
- May also handle responsibilities as office manager, supervising and training staff.
Experience Desired
- Aviation background or experience desired, but not required.
- Experience in supervising people and schedules.

JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief--and the vision--that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.
We are a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand. We do that by supporting Bible translation and language development partners globally, and by working with prayer and financial partners in the United States to help make a range of unique on-the-field solutions possible.
