Become a friend to an elderly resident providing meaningful interaction with one or more Village Shalom residents. Offer companionship and friendly assistance with daily living. Visiting, chatting, playing cards & other games. Reading, writing letters, taking strolls together or snacking in our cafe. Make a real difference in the life of an older person! This program requires a minimum of three visits a month. (Weekdays, Evenings or Weekends)

Village Shalom is Kansas City's premiere senior living community sponsored by the Kansas City Jewish community. Our sole mission is to enhance the quality of life of the older adults we serve.
