Sunday Assembly East Bay is a secular community group that puts together a monthly event where people get together to celebrate life, learn, and help each other live good lives. Many people who attend find richness in the deep relationships we build, and we believe this will be a great community center for all people. Our community is radically inclusive and members represent many identities ranging from spiritual to agnostic and atheist. We include all who include all!

Many families have expressed interest in attending the monthly event to build community but cannot due to lack of child care.

We are looking for 2-4 regular friendly volunteers who can come guide children's activities for 1 hour each week. After this hour, you would be free to attend the potluck!

We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month at a senior center in Berkeley. Volunteers will be livescaned/fingerprinted and will be trained prior to starting. We are requesting a 6 month committment.

Limited ages: 4-10

10:45- Supervised Childcare opens- snack time

11:00- Younger Children:

• Group games
• Board games
• Mini-science lesson or humanist curriculum?
• Read books together
• Coloring book
• Practicing silly dance for the song
• Making stuff to give out to audience members (origami, valentines, etc)
• Planning a milestone talk
• (Or some other skill/passion you have to teach?)

11:45- After Speaker- children return to make announcement, show what they did, sing and perform in the song via instruments or dance

12:00 Children and Volunteer Care Providers join parents for potluck, child care providers join us for potluck
