Hello!

The Survivant Organization (TSO), a non-profit located in Washington, D.C. dedicated to assisting female victims of domestic and sexual violence aged 16-24 is seeking a web editor to build a website for a brand new 2-part global podcast. This is a time-sensitive project so all of the details regarding what we are looking for has been compiled into a document ready to go, so we need someone WITH EXPERIENCE who can get it completed ASAP!

We really believe in this project so if you are interested in getting started with our team, we are looking for dedicated, reliable women who want to affect change and work to achieve gender equality around the world. There may be an opportunity for a permanent, ongoing position as web editor with our NPO to be discussed if there is interest. This is a NON-PAYING opportunity. The Survivant Organization works to eradicate domestic and sexual violence among young women aged 16-24 through research, interactive education, and advocacy.

Description

The Survivant Organization (TSO) is a newly formed non-profit dedicated to eradicating domestic and sexual violence in females aged 16-24 through research, interactive education, and advocacy. One in every four women will experience domestic and/or sexual violence. But girls in this age range are four times more likely to experience these kinds of violence over any other age group. TSO implements programs that increase awareness, create safety plans, facilitate legal representation, and provide additional neccessities for survivors on their journey to recovery. Every woman we assist will be provided with holistic solutions, guiding survivors towards a life free from violence and abuse.
