Encourage high school students to reach their academic goals through homework assistance, learning strategies, and mentorship. Inspire youth. Learn to lead.

Welcoming all volunteers who want to take part in our Bulldog team where "all students will graduate college-ready, empowered with the knowledge, skills and passion to positively impact their own lives, their community and the global society" www.epaahs.org (check out the EPAA video on our homepage!)

Volunteers can attend one or all sessions for afterschool tutoring, Monday-Thursday from 4-5:30pm.

Weekend volunteer opportunities also available with our Saturday School program.

East Palo Alto Academy seeks to ensure that students are prepared for college and the 21st Century World and workplace by enabling them to graduate with the full array of knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for success in a complex world and the ability to learn independently throughout their lives.

Description

East Palo Alto Academy (EPAA) is a public charter high school located in a quiet residential neighborhood in East Palo Alto that serves students primarily from the community of East Palo Alto.

Vision: All students will graduate college-ready, empowered with the skills and passion to positively impact their own lives, their community and the global society.

As a public dependent charter school and part of the Sequoia Union High School District open enrollment process, EPAA is open to all students, has no admission requirements, and does not charge tuition.
