TUTORS
Tutors are needed for Reading and Math. Looking for volunteers with an educational background and have experience in math or reading. Certified or highly qualified in the content area preferred. Knowledge of individualized and differentiated instruction preferred. All volunteers/tutors must pass a background check. All volunteers/tutors must attend orientation and training. We tutor students in Family Gateway on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 pm.

Description
EDEC is a 501(c)(3 ) non-profit organization that provides educational programs and services to children and youth, especially children and youth who are disadvantaged, under served and homeless and in transition in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Metropolitan area. EDEC specializes in developing and offering programs and services that are tailored to individual and group needs. These educational programs and services promote a holistic approach to academics, interpersonal, life and leadership skills and build self-esteem that lead to a better quality of life.
