The ideal candidate for this position would have some experience taking meeting minutes, using accounting software (we use Wave Apps, similar to Quickbooks), and nonprofit filings. This position requires a one year commitment, with a recommended commitment of 2 years, as well as attendance at monthly board meetings (held in SLO on the 4th Monday of each month at 6pm).

Description
The Young Professionals Networking Group (YPNG), was formed in November of 2006 by a handful of individuals in San Luis Obispo and has grown into a dynamic county-wide organization. Comprised of talented young business professionals who live and work on the Central Coast, YPNG strives to bring together individuals to build friendships, network and support each other in becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
The group meets on a monthly basis for mixers, hikes, and professional development events to promote and support local business giving you a chance to meet and build relationships with other young professionals. Attending a YPNG event will give you the opportunity to jump outside your comfort level and introduce yourself to a whole host of young, friendly people.
