Play with drones, craft a rocket, and make a difference to Arlington youth!

4-H is looking for adult volunteers to help elementary aged children explore the wonderful world of STEM. Partnering with Arlington County Public School's Extended Day, volunteers will assist staff to lead pre-planned activities from the 4-H National Youth Science Day program. Topics include drone discovery, rockets to the rescue, maps and apps, and more.

Sessions typically run once a week from 4-5 PM for six weeks. Volunteers are matched with a partner to co-lead lessons.

Volunteers will be required to undergo a background screening. No technical experience is necessary-we will train you!
