Are you passionate about protecting our children? Are you looking for a fun, hands-on way to give back to your community? The Children’s Trust of South Carolina is seeking creative and energetic individuals to join our Gala Committee!
The Children’s Trust Gala Committee is a dynamic group of people dedicated to raising funds and awareness for child abuse prevention by assisting in the planning and implementation of our annual Gala and Silent Auction, our signature fundraiser. The Gala raises money to support our mission to strengthen and support public and private prevention efforts that keep South Carolina’s children safe.
The Committee helps plan the Gala from start to finish and provides critical support in securing items for our silent auction. There are multiple leadership opportunities for those looking for additional responsibility: designing event décor, organizing the silent auction display, and coordinating volunteers during set up. The Committee meets once per month beginning in January.
A Committee Launch and New Member Social will be held at Cafe Strudel from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11. The first Committee meeting is schedule for January 25 at 5:30 p.m.
The 2017 Gala will take place Saturday, August 26.
