Interlock Media, a socially engaged non-profit documentary production company, is recruiting for the position of Volunteer Associate Producer for a documentary on Margaret Fuller, 19th century feminist, thought leader, and women’s rights advocate tied with the early transcendental movement.
The AP’s role will involve:
Coordinating and motivating a talented roster of editors, motion graphics artists, sound editors, researchers, and production assistants
Acquisition of still images and historic ephemera
Pre-production of filming of interview subjects in Boston and Italy.
Assisting legal interns with rights and clearances negotiation
Synthesizing and communicating the Director’s vision to all relevant contributors
Encouraging focus, timely execution, and diplomatic cooperation between all respective departments
Experience in film production required. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are ideal. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.

Description
Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise
Salary: None Qualifications:
Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
