Job Type : Volunteer; non-profit. 4-month commitment
Interlock Media, a socially engaged non-profit documentary production company, is recruiting for the position of Volunteer Associate Producer for a series of short web based videos on Climate Change and new approaches the movement is taking towards real world solutions in 2017.
The producer’s role will involve:
Coordinating and motivating a talented roster of editors, motion graphics artists, sound editors, researchers, and production assistants
Researching, engaging, and organizing the videotaping of interview subjects
Synthesizing and communicating the Director’s vision to relevant contributors
Encouraging focus, timely execution, and diplomatic cooperation between all respective departments
Experience in film production required. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are ideal. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.

Description
Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise
Salary: None Qualifications:
Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
