The 2017 Miami-Dade Area Soccer Competition will be held Sunday, April 2nd from 9am to 2 pm. Success in this competiton gives our athletes the amazing opportunity to move on and compete in Orlando, FL at the State Summer Games at ESPN World Wide Sports! Come be apart of this great day!!
Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, registration, scorekeeping, escorting athletes, awards and more.

The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Description
The ultimate goal of Special Olympics is to help persons with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
