VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care, is offering an opportunity to become a volunteer. Volunteers provide companionship to patients, offer respite care to families, and are a vital component of hospice care teams. VITAS is seeking hospice volunteers to visit patients at the end of life.

All volunteers are trained to meet the specific needs of terminally ill patients living in their own homes, nursing homes, assisted living communities and medical centers. Description

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare(r), providing friendly, non-medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteer for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in your community throughout Dade County.
