Kindred Hospice is looking for volunteers for our patients in Carbon, Monroe, Montgomery and Lehigh Counties. If you have a caring heart, are dependable, and able to give a small amount of your time to help others, we would be glad to have you on our team. Kindred Hospice provides compassionate care to those we serve during the end of life's journey through our commitment to clinical excellence and uncompromising service. Hospice volunteers provide service such as companionship, socialization, support, playing cards/games, reading to patients, listening to music, sing to patients, crafts, puzzles, light meal prep, or light housekeeping. Must be 18 years of age or older. Orientation and training will be provided. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 610-377-5403.

Kindred Hospice provides support and care to persons in the last stages of a life-limiting illness. As a team, our focus is on enhancing our patients' comfort level and overall quality of life. Care can be provided in a variety of settings such as home, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals. We support our patients, their loved ones and caregivers.
We strive to create a unique care plan for each of our patients that enlists the expertise of Registered Nurses, Spiritual Care Counselors, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Workers, Volunteers, and Bereavement Counselors. We serve in 7 counties: Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Pike and Schuylkill.
