How far would you go to tell children’s cancer to take a Hike? Join CureSearch for our 7th year of the Ultimate Hike on the beautiful Foothills Trail, located in North and South Carolina! You’ll trek 28.3 miles in one day on your life changing, lifesaving adventure. Our experienced coaches provide a 12 week training program to make sure you’re prepared for the big day, and all the while you’ll be raising funds for critical research to help end the biggest disease killer of children - cancer. Join us for our official Ultimate Hike information meeting to learn more about Ultimate Hike weekend, the training program, and the fundraising requirements. You’ll meet alumni and coaches who will answer any questions you have and tell you about their first Ultimate Hike experience, and why they keep coming back. To start your adventure today, RSVP for an info meeting at www.ultimatehike.org/fh17 or email brecka.putnam@curesearch.org with your questions. We hope to see you on the trail!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to end childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with measurable results in an accelerated time frame.
Description
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, transcending research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We fight every day to make treatments and cures possible for the 47 children diagnosed with cancer each day. We do this in three ways:
- We accelerate the search for cures by posing essential challenges to scientists and inviting teams to overcome them with innovative research approaches.
- We transcend the barriers of a broken research system by establishing new pathways to end children’s cancer.
- We provide resources and education, so no child faces a cancer diagnosis without a fully equipped support team.
