Do you enjoy teaching others? Can you sew or crochet? Are you crafty? How about games? Do you enjoy chatting and getting to know patients while you are teaching skills? We have a fun volunteer opportunity working with patients in our High Risk pregnancy unit and in other units. Sometimes patients are with us only a few days but sometimes they are with us for months! Our Boredom Busters volunteer team helps them get out of their rooms, get to know others, learn new skills, and do something fun and meaningful while they are here.
We are looking for just a few, very special individuals who would enjoy this volunteer opportunity. It can be life changing for all involved. You will volunteer in pairs and get lots of training!
