The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is searching for volunteers for the D&L Spring Dinner Auction Committee.

Event will take place April 27, 2017 at Northampton Country Club, but the planning is beginning NOW!

Committee volunteers will focus on the following:

*Identifying and securing sponsors and donations

* Helping with bid item descriptions

*Helping with general marketing of the event

*Assembling baskets and items

*Helping with Set up day of event

*Be willing to attend monthly committee meetings

Join us for our committee kick-off meeting on Thursday, January 26 th at 3pm!

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that preserves historic pathways that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia. Today, the D&L Trail connects people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage.

Description

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that preserves historic pathways that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia. Today, the D&L Trail and the National Canal Museum connect people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage.

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L) is working to connect th 165-mile D&L Trail through 5 Pennsylvania counties, (Carbon, Luzerne, Northampton, Lehigh and Bucks) by 2020. The D&L also manages the National Canal Museum in Easton, home of PA's only mule-drawn canal boat ride.
