Have you ever considered...
becoming a hospice volunteer?
We’ll equip you to companion a patient and family along their journey with a life limiting illness. Our volunteers may:
loffer companionship lread a book lprovide caregiver relief llisten to a life story lhold a hand lbrighten someone’s day
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of terminal illness.
Our volunteers share their time and talents in order to offer companionship to our patients, while easing the burden that may be felt by their family members during this difficult time. Patient/family volunteers are assigned to patients and their families in the patient’s own home, a nursing home, hospital or other alternate living facility.
