The American Cancer Society’s 7th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Worcester (facebook.com/msabcworcester) is set for Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Institute Park in Worcester MA. The special fundraising walk unites the community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educates women about the importance of prevention and early detection, and raises funds to help the Society do the most for people with breast cancer today to end the disease tomorrow. Volunteers are vital to the success of Making Strides of Worcester. Volunteers are needed the day before Making Strides, Saturday, October 14th, from 12 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for event set up. On Sunday, October 15th, volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. to help with set up, registration, snack areas, water stops, cheering on walkers and clean up. Times vary depending on the volunteer role. All day and hourly opportunities are available.
