At The Muscular Dystrophy Association, we believe in living life unlimited. This is why we’re leading the fight to free individuals - and the families who love them - from the harmful effects of muscle disease, and helping them to live longer and grow stronger. Currently, we’re seeking volunteers (to start in February 2017) to make telephone calls to businesses participating in our Shamrocks program (no solicitation involved). Calls to be made from our offices in Warwick, RI between 9a and 5p on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. Description

At MDA, we are working to change that and free the incredible families we serve from the devastating effects of these diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger. We do this in three ways:

  • We fund research across diseases to accelerate treatments and cures.
  • We care for kids and adults from day one so they get the very best treatment.
  • We empower families with services and support in hometowns across America to help them thrive and stay independent (e.g., summer camps for kids, support groups, equipment assistance).
