Mission Statement

The Mustard Seed of Central Indiana, a Furniture Bank, helps rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered a disaster or personal tragedy by providing gently used furniture and household furnishings.

Description

The Mustard Seed Furniture Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with over 80 social service agencies throughout Central Indiana that provide household furnishing and other services to their clients. Most of these agencies provide their clients with case managers that help find the client’s specific needs whether that is household furnishings, small kitchen appliances, and other necessities. The clients we support together have been affected by homelessness, domestic violence, mental or physical health issues, poverty, addiction, and/or other crises.
