Mission Statement

We serve people holistically and help meet physical, relational, spiritual, educational, and vocational needs and we do so as we deem appropriate without prejudice to race, gender, income, ability or disability, spiritual standing, education, or past history. Through all of our programs we seek to meet three main goals; building community, empowering those in need, and mobilizing the compassionate.

Description

The Sulphur Christian Community Coalition is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. In January 2010 it was created to foster collaboration among neighbors, various community agencies, local ministries, civic organizations, area schools and universities, small businesses, and city government in order to provide creative solutions to community challenges. Our goal is to become a strong, active social force for good as we work together to best serve the people of Sulphur who are in need. Our desire is to bring holistic revitalization to the lives and environments of Sulphur through relational, spiritual, physical, educational, and vocational empowerment. We focus on building community, empowering those in need, and mobilizing the compassionate. This is done by building authentic relationships, insisting that those we serve be part of the solution, and engaging the community in our efforts. Everything that is done through SC3 is for God’s glory and fame.
