ORGANIZATION: Southern California Hospice Foundation

Southern California Hospice Foundation

The Helping Hands Hospice Guild is an all-volunteer group, with a mission to support the work of the Southern California Hospice Foundation (SCHF) through volunteering, community outreach, and special projects. Our guild meets quarterly, & members contribute their time and talent by adopting special projects to support patients during their end-of-life journey.

Past projects have included, "Bags of Love" given to each patient served by SCHF. These bags included: lap blankets, prayer cards, non-scented lotions, deck of cards, writing prompts, notepads & pens. Also, we have adopted patients for the holidays and helped to make specific dreams come true.
