Are you dedicated to education? Are you goal-oriented and committed to helping others succeed? Are you enthusiastic and patient? The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County’s Education & Support Department seeks Adult Learning Center Volunteers. Adult Learning Center Volunteers are essential in the Adult Learning Center to assist adults in progressing in and attaining their educational goals.
Responsibilities: Assist learners with educational needs such as GED preparation, literacy help, ESL, online job applications, etc; serve as a role model; help to create a welcoming and educational atmosphere
Necessary skills and qualifications: Enthusiastic and patient; excellent interpersonal communication skills; educational background a plus
