Do you enjoy working with children? Have an interest in arts and crafts? The Avondale Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County seeks volunteers to serve as Children’s Program Support Assistants. Children’s Program Support Assistants are essential in our branches to provide assistance to librarians as they prepare for and offer programming for our young patrons. Typical work includes craft preparation, cutting out shapes and projects for story time, and working with children during activities.
All volunteers must be approved by Volunteer Services prior to service. Our application and screening process includes: an online application, interview, reference check, and background check.
Online Application can be found at: http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/support/volunteer.html
Current Need: Tuesdays or Thursdays 10-12 a.m.
