Generous Hospice is always seeking Volunteers to give the gift of time. Some of the programs we offer through the Volunteer Department are:
1. Companions- These Volunteers provide companionship through reading, board games, life review etc.
2. Care Giver relief- These volunteers stay with patient while caregiver runs errands.
3. Pet Therapy- (Dog and Owner Team) Certified Therapy Dog If not Certified I can give information on getting Dog trained..
4. Spiritual Volunteers- These volunteers pray with patients and read scripture to them.
5. Music and Memory - Helping Dementia and Alzheimers patients through Music.
6. 11th Hr./ Vigil- These Volunteers provide a presence, hold a hand, pray or just stay with the Family/ patient during the last hours of the patients life.

7. Fund Raising Volunteers - These Volunteers Help with Fundraising Events, and Ideas for The His Generous Foundation. Which is a non-profit that was formed to help Hospice patients that are having financial difficulties while faced with this difficult journey, helps with completing legacy's and honor last wish requests.

Please stop by and apply to be a Blessing in someones life, at the end of their life. It will be very rewarding to put a smile on their face.

This can be done by: Reading a book, Playing music,Holding a hand, or simply lending an ear.
