Did you know that it takes over 800 volunteers to make this event awesome?! We have several roles we need filled and can’t thank you enough for your consideration!
All volunteers will receive a commemorative event support team t-shirt, lunch and/or dinner at each shift attended, and an invite to our volunteer thank you party at the end of the year.
Please see below for job descriptions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Tatiana (tatiana@tour-de-troit.org). As we are still in the logistical phase, please take into account that locations and times may change.

Sign Distribution Community Outreach
We're seeking three teams of two for this job. This assignment will require some traveling along the official Tour de Troit route. We want to give people as much notice as possible that Tour de Troit will be happening on Sept. 17th and where so they may plan accordingly. Volunteers will be given a map with assigned locations and asked to stick a sign outside that establishment. This one would be super fun on a bike (with some panniers, of course)!
Dates: Tuesday 09/12(Drop off) & Saturday 09/16(Pick Up)
Times: Negotiable
Barricade Crew

Time: 7:30AM-1PM
Great for large groups! Work in a team directed under the supervision of a captain, helping with crowd control and directing riders while communicating safety concerns (such as road hazards). They also provide general information to both riders and the public while encouraging slower riders to the finish line.
