Assist the students and Chef Instructor with set up, clean up, and cooking for a 5-week program of cooking classes as they learn 8 basic cooking skills and create meals. Meal is provided at the end of class. Cooking experience is not mandatory but appreciated.
The participants you will be assisting will be learning how to cook healthy and affordable meals for their family using fresh meat, grains and produce.
We have new sessions starting every two months. Please go to this website to see and sign up for exact dates/times - http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f054fabad2ba5f58-cooking4 (We also have other locations, days of the week, and times you can see on the webpage as well.)
Classes at The Sanctuary are held:
Sunday Afternoons 2:30pm - 5:00 pm (We understand this is a long time commitment if you can only help with cleanup 2 hours at the end, we would still appreciate your help and you still can get lunch.)
*You will need to provide your own transportation.
