VBCDC is looking for someone to serve as our Volunteer Team Lead for our Fundraising Circle!

The Fundraising Team Lead will work directly with the CEO and coordinate with other Fundraising Champions to setup various local fundraising efforts for the organization- identifying, organizing, and marketing these events to help us raise money as we continue to create supportive communities where our neighbors are empowered to live their best lives.

The Fundraising Circle will meet monthly at the VBCDC Headquarters, but the majority of this opportunity would be done out in the community or able to be done remotely.

The Fundraising Team Lead is asked to volunteer approximately 8 hours per week.

This volunteer should be 21+, \have previous fundraising experience (this could include setting up fundraising events for scouts, leading GoFundMe campaigns, working with other non-profit groups, etc.), and be comfortable utilizing technology to communicate and plan events.

VBCDC is an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit housing development corporation operating in the City of Virginia Beach. VBCDC is committed to developing quality affordable rental opportunities, providing comprehensive support services to its tenants, and providing comprehensive housing counseling services to families and individuals in need. VBCDC currently owns and manages over 410 units of affordable rental housing located throughout the City of Virginia Beach that serve low-to-moderate income families, individuals, elderly persons, veterans, homeless persons, and persons with disabilities.
