VBCDC is looking for 6-8 fundraising champions to join our Fundraising Circle!
This group will work directly with the CEO to setup various local fundraising efforts for the organization- identifying, organizing, and marketing these events to help us raise money as we continue to create supportive communities where our neighbors are empowered to live their best lives.
Fundraising Champions will meet monthly at the VBCDC Headquarters, and are asked to commit approximately 4 hours each week, but most of this time would be out in the community or able to be done remotely.
Volunteers should be 21+ and have previous fundraising experience (this could include setting up fundraising events for scouts, leading GoFundMe campaigns, working with other non-profit groups, etc.)

VBCDC is an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit housing development corporation operating in the City of Virginia Beach. VBCDC is committed to developing quality affordable rental opportunities, providing comprehensive support services to its tenants, and providing comprehensive housing counseling services to families and individuals in need. VBCDC currently owns and manages over 410 units of affordable rental housing located throughout the City of Virginia Beach that serve low-to-moderate income families, individuals, elderly persons, veterans, homeless persons, and persons with disabilities.
