Furry Friends Animal Rescue is looking for dependable and committed Adoption Counselors!

As our Adoption Counselor, your duties will include; matching cats with the best possible adopters, helping adopters through the adoption process, and happily sending the cat home with their forever families.

Below are additional details about this opportunity:

  • Position: Adoption Counselor
  • Available Shifts: Multiple
  • When - Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon
  • Time Commitment - 2-4 hours/month (Between 12-4 PM)
  • Where - PetSmart at Hwy 380/75 and/or Hwy 121/Custer Road
Adoption Counselors must be 21 years of age or older (no exceptions). You must be reliable and have some experience with cats. You definitely don't need to be an expert. Training for this position is available and the cat fosters are available by text and phone during the shift.

Furry Friends Animal Rescue (FFAR) was founded in June 2013 by over 20 experienced fosters and volunteers who wanted to start their own all-breed rescue group to save cats and dogs primarily from Collin and Denton County animal shelters and Arlington Animal Shelter.

Furry Friends Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing unwanted cats and dogs in the North Texas area and finding them permanent, loving homes through our foster and adoption program.
