Unpaid volunteers, 2-10 hours per week, 2-6 months, remote

Opportunity Description:

Anike Foundation is seeking volunteers to research and draft grant proposals. The purpose of the proposals is to seek funding for our programs from qualified grant-making organizations. The volunteer would be capable of researching funding opportunities using grant research tools that we provide. The primary requirements for this position are the ability to:

  • Perform web research and
  • Organize data using Excel

This is a volunteer position. There will be no financial compensation. Our organization is 100% volunteer run. We welcome volunteers located anywhere in the world, as long as they can connect reliably to the Internet.

Description

Since 2007, Anike Foundation has dedicated its work to one clear purpose: making education accessible to improve the livelihoods of individuals in Africa. With over 200 partners in 20 countries across the continent, the Foundation has touched thousands of lives through its funding of essential programs. Over the past fifteen years, the foundation has worked directly with grassroots African NGOs and accredited learning institutions to distribute school supplies - such as workbooks, pencils and sports equipment - to primary schools in need.
