This critical role will provide guidance, experience, and hands-on efforts to guide Donate Good Stuff toward financial sustainability.

We are a growing social venture and you will have the opportunity to shape our path. Our goal is to become the most nationally recognized and useful resource for people who want to donate items where they will do good.

This board role will focus on helping Donate Good Stuff grow and continue to be self-sustaining. The ideal candidate should have experience and interest in fundraising, grant writing. Additionally, experience with sponsorships, partnerships, or other creative funding solutions is highly desired.

Looking for someone who is passionate about social causes including environment and community.

Board commitment is from January 2023 through December 2024. Virtual board meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6-7 p.m. Overall monthly commitment is 10 hours to attend board meeting and for researching and writing of grants.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18

  • Must be passionate about social causes, organized, detail oriented, and excellent at managing grants applications and related projects.
