ORGANIZATION: Donate Good Stuff

This critical board role will grow partnerships with nonprofits.

We are a growing social venture and you will have the opportunity to shape our path. Our goal is to become the most nationally recognized and useful resource for people who want to donate items where they will do good.

The ideal candidate for this role will have existing relationships and/or a strong desire to create relationships with diverse nonprofits and to partner with them in creative ways. Board experience, networking with nonprofits, and volunteer coordination is preferred.

The focus of the outreach coordinator is to educate nonprofits about how they can benefit from what Donate Good Stuff offers free to their organizations, and help us understand how to best serve their needs.

Must be passionate about social causes, a self-starter, excellent at managing projects and people, have a knack for inspiring others.

Time commitment is flexible. We are looking for approximately 10 hours + per month. Official board meetings are held virtually on a quarterly basis and virtual coordination meetings generally fall in the other months.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • Quarterly virtual board meeting, 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6-7pm CT. Plus additional time to support non-profits approximately 10+ hrs/mo.
  • Must be passionate about social causes, excellent at managing projects/people, and like to have fun
